M² is thrilled to invite you to an afternoon of learning and exploration to celebrate – and gain exposure to – a set of bold new Jewish Pedagogies, designed to increase the depth and impact of 21st Century Jewish Education.

Over the past nine months, the Jewish Pedagogies Circle, an initiative piloted by M²: The Institute for Experiential Jewish Education and supported by the Lippman Kanfer Foundation for Living Torah and the Jim Joseph Foundation, convened 12 fellows to research, shape, and transform the ways in which we teach and students learn.

These master-practitioners collaboratively worked to develop new Jewish pedagogies which collectively address some of today’s most burning questions, while drawing from the depth of Jewish wisdom and tradition.  With the support of guest scholars, artists, and content experts, each fellow developed a distinct Jewish pedagogy to inform their practice, their learners, and ultimately, the field of Jewish education at large.

Join us for an afternoon of discovery and learning with our fellows. Fellows will share parts of their pedagogy and reflect on the process of diving deep into their practice. You will also walk away with a series of new practices to implement into your educational setting.

Presentations include pedagogies on spiritual practice and the new sacred, cultivating stances of love and compassion; education as impression, and educational practices to strengthen place and positionality, visibility, dialogue, and integration.

Presenting fellows include: Adam Eilath, Rabbi Ari Weiss, Dr. Chana Silberstein, Jake Marmer, Jon Adam Ross, Leah Kahn, Rabbi Lisa Goldstein, Eichelberger-Jankowska, Rabbi Rachel Bovitz, Shira Hecht-Koller, Simon Klarfeld, and Yoshi Silverstein.
