David J. Butler serves as Chair of Jewish Federations of North America’s (JFNA) Marketing & Communications Committee and is the immediate past chair of JFNA’s Israel & Overseas Committee.  He is a long-time member of JFNA’s Executive Committee and Board of Trustees.  Mr. Butler has served as president and campaign chair of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington; president of the United Jewish Endowment Fund of Greater Washington; president of the Berman Hebrew Academy (Rockville, MD), and president of Kemp Mill Synagogue (Silver Spring, MD).  He is Counsel with the firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, president of Dvash Investments, LLC, and serves on the Board of Directors of several charitable organizations.  David is married, with four children and six grandchildren, and divides his time between Silver Spring, MD and Miami Beach, FL.
