Sheri Gurock is Executive Director of The Beker Foundation, a family foundation established by her parents in the early 1980s. She has over 20 years of experience in management, strategy, design thinking, and organizational change. Sheri co-founded the award-winning retail business Magic Beans in 2004 and later became a facilitator and executive coach, working with nonprofit organizations, boards, and leaders. She has served on several nonprofit boards, including as President of the Board at Mayyim Hayyim. Sheri earned her undergraduate degree from Brandeis University and holds certificates in Gathering Design and Facilitation from Georgetown University and Executive Coaching from William James College. Sheri lives in Brookline, MA with her family and spends most of her free time at choir rehearsals and circus classes.
