Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Apply by October 23 for a 40% tuition discount.

Aleh, a Hebrew word that means “uplift,” gives organizations the opportunity to invest in their rising professionals, ensuring they are supported, inspired, and prepared to strengthen Jewish communal life.

At the heart of Aleh are three goals. To achieve them, participants will explore personal and professional values at play.

MOTIVATE
Motivate yourself by connecting with your mission as meaningful and noble. Fueled by your passion, you will recognize your essential role in shaping your Jewish community.

NAVIGATE
Navigate complex conversations on Israel, antisemitism, and communal divides by applying Jewish values as a guiding framework. You will gain the clarity and confidence to engage thoughtfully and effectively with your work.

CULTIVATE
Cultivate the skills, tools, and networks needed to excel in Jewish communal work. You will strengthen your ability to communicate, foster relationships, and lead with impact.

"A session that really stood out to me focused on the idea that emotions are for reflecting, not reacting. Working in a synagogue, relationships and emotions are often deeply intertwined, and that insight felt incredibly practical. As one of the youngest members of my staff, it also gave me a new framework for approaching challenges with greater thoughtfulness, confidence, and credibility."

"I came to Aleh not knowing a single person. What I love most about Jewish spaces is that you walk into a room and immediately find connections with people you've never met. Whether it's because you both went to camp, attended a similar conference, or read the same book, you discover these invisible strings connecting you to others. You instantly feel supported, understood, and welcomed."
