M² began with a bold idea
M² was founded on a simple but ambitious belief: that the quality of Jewish education could be transformed by investing deeply in the educators and leaders at its heart.
Ten years later, that vision has become a global network of educators, alumni, partners, supporters, and friends who shape meaningful Jewish experiences around the world.
As we celebrate this milestone, we’re looking back at where we began and ahead to where we’re going—and invite you to help tell the story of M².
A Decade of impact
On September 7, 2016, Shuki Taykor sent an email announcing the formation of M², an organization aiming to “provide training and research to advance the field of experiential Jewish education” that would “invest in the growth of its educators and practitioners.”
A decade later, Shuki, M²’s CEO, reflects on how much of that original vision remains relevant, what has changed, and the path ahead for M² and the field of Jewish education.
