Position Available Immediately | Full-Time Position | Jerusalem, Israel

WHO WE ARE

M²: The Institute for Experiential Jewish Education’s mission is promoting a proud and inspired community of Jewish educators who possess the personal and professional capacities to help learners find meaning and relevance in Jewish life. We run a broad range of training programs for in-service educators and consulting services for education and resource development for educational organizations. These programs and services take place in North America and Israel.

M² seeks to learn, grow, share, and make real change in the field of experiential Jewish education. With offices in Israel as well as New York and Chicago, we are a nimble, cutting edge and incredibly warm team. Our work is guided by our five organizational values: generosity, humility, rigor, innovation, and integrity.

POSITION OVERVIEW

JewishPro is M²’s AI platform, purpose-built for the Jewish organizational world. Where general AI tools offer generic assistance, JewishPro brings something different: specialized intelligence rooted in Jewish life. Through a growing library of AI skills and agents, JewishPro helps Jewish educators and organizational leaders design better programs, clarify their values, strengthen their strategy, and make decisions grounded in what matters most to their communities. JewishPro is currently being implemented across a range of North American Jewish organizations, and we are growing rapidly.

M² is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Jewish education professional to serve as the Director of AI Jewish Education Content for JewishPro. The Director, reporting to the General Manager of M² Products and Technologies, is responsible for building and expanding JewishPro’s library of skills — discrete AI capabilities, each designed to help Jewish educators and organizational leaders do a specific kind of thinking or work more effectively. Working directly with Jewish institutional partners, the Director surfaces what is needed, identifies where new skills would deliver the greatest value, and defines the content, logic, and design required to build each one well. The role also includes rigorous testing to ensure that what gets built is accurate, contextually appropriate, and genuinely useful in practice. The role demands fluency in Jewish content including texts and educational frameworks, and familiarity with the North American Jewish organizational landscape.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Skills Development and Content Strategy (60%)

  • Lead the end-to-end creation of AI skills and agents for the JewishPro platform: defining the right scope, identifying the inputs and steps required, and overseeing detailed testing and quality assurance.
  • Apply deep knowledge of Jewish content and pedagogy — including M²’s educational approach and frameworks — in building AI skills that help Jewish professionals think more intentionally about dimensions of Jewish life, values, program design, strategy, and facilitation, and that meet a high standard of accuracy, nuance, and educational integrity.
  • Think strategically and ambitiously about the evolution of M²’s skills and content libraries — identifying new domains, use cases, sources and opportunities where JewishPro can deliver the greatest impact.
  • Stay current with developments in AI and best practices in skills and agent design, applying that knowledge to continuously raise the bar for JewishPro’s capabilities.
  • Partner with the JewishPro product and engineering teams to translate content vision into platform-level capabilities.

Client Engagement and Co-Creation (40%)

  • Work directly with JewishPro’s organizational partners to deeply understand their goals, challenges, and content needs.
  • Lead discovery and co-design processes to identify which skills would be most valuable for each client, ensuring that built skills align with their expectations, workflows, and organizational culture.
  • Serve as a trusted expert advisor to client organizations on how to think about AI capabilities within a Jewish educational framework.
  • Gather post-deployment feedback and use it to iterate on and improve skills over time.
  • Maintain and evolve internal documentation, standards, and workflows for the skills development process.
  • Contribute to M²’s strategic communications by articulating the impact and value of JewishPro’s skills in case-studies, presentations, and thought leadership content.
  • Perform additional duties as requested and needed.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in Jewish education, Jewish organizational life, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated deep knowledge of Jewish content across multiple domains, with the ability to evaluate and curate material at a high educational standard.
  • Demonstrated experience working with AI tools, platforms, or systems.
  • Strong pedagogical thinking — the ability to translate complex content into structured, learner-centered formats.
  • Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical, thorough approach to technical work.
  • Strong client-facing skills: professionalism, warmth, responsiveness, and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior organizational leaders.
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Familiarity with the North American Jewish organizational landscape.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of M²: The Institute for Experiential Jewish Education.

Preferred:

  • Hands-on experience building or configuring AI agents and skills.
  • Proficiency in Hebrew — written and spoken.
  • Experience in a director-level within a Jewish educational or nonprofit organization.
